Help Needed: Now that the Christmas season is over, we will be taking down the decorations following worship on Jan. 5. If you are able to stay, we would greatly appreciate your help. See Meredith Holland for more information.

Thank you to all who donated socks for the Tacoma Rescue Mission. We gave a total of 185 pairs of socks. This will be a great blessing to those in need during the cold, wet weather.

Covenant Kids Family Meeting: There will be a meeting for Covenant Kids families following worship next Sunday, Jan. 12 in the Heritage Room. The three main agenda items are: 1) Discuss the revised safety policies in Kids Ministry; 2) Reveal the Covenant Kids new mission statement; 3) Brainstorm ways we can partner with you in the discipleship of the children. Monday Evening Men’s Study:  Monday, Jan. 6 at 6:00pm, we will continue our study of “The Awe of God,” by John Bevere. Please bring your own dinner; contact the church office for location.

TrailMasters: Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 10:45am, TrailMasters will be offering a new teaching series called “Christian Growth & Emotional Health.” Class content will focus on understanding ways we process the world around us, interpersonal communication skill-sets, and a variety of problem-solving methods. The Bible has much to offer the maturing follower of Jesus Christ. Everyone is interested in reducing personal pain and confusion. This series is open to you, your friends, and your neighbors.—Pastor Rick

All men are invited Thursday, Jan. 9 from 6pm-8:30pm for an Iron Sharpens Iron Movie Night in the Lower Fireside Room. Bring your favorite snacks and soft drinks. We meet every other Thursday. See Stephen Munt for more information.

Hymn Sing: Everyone is invited to remain after the service to sing hymns accompanied by the organ and piano once a month. Our next hymn sing is Sunday, Jan. 12 following worship.

Prayer Gathering: Everyone is invited to come and pray Saturday, Jan. 18 at 10:00am in the Heritage Room. We’ll be praying for church ministries, our country, our pastors and staff, our families, Israel—or any other prayer concerns you would like to bring. Please see Janey Barnhart for more information.

Soup Sunday Fellowship: Our next Soup Sunday will be Sunday, Jan. 19 following worship. Please call the church office to let us know what you would like to bring, either soup, bread, or a dessert. Letting us know makes sure we have plenty and do not run out of anything. Thank you!
